History of motor racing

Motor racing has a long and rich history. In fact, the history of motor racing is as extensive as the history of cars themselves. The first motor race ever organized took place on April 28, 1887 in France. Many of the first races were at low speeds with extensive courses that took over two days to complete. Racing circuits began to emerge in the early twentieth century. Today we see countless tours in nearly every country with many different types of vehicles. You can see that this information is just the tip of the ice berg when it comes to the history of motor racing and it is ever increasing as the sport of motor racing is expanding every single day. This ensure a bright future for motor racing, its competitors, and fans alike.
