History of motor racing
Motor racing has a long and rich history. In fact, the history of motor racing is as extensive as the history of cars themselves. The first motor race ever organized took place on April 28, 1887 in France. Many of the first races were at low speeds with extensive courses that took over two days to complete. Racing circuits began to emerge in the early twentieth century. Today we see countless tours in nearly every country with many different types of vehicles.
